Our month-long, paid vacation schemes are a chance to get to know us and the first step in starting a legal career with us. The programme is held jointly with Herbert Smith Freehills, our Formal Law Alliance partner in Singapore.
You’ll undertake real work in two different departments for high-profile clients; attend workshops, presentations and social events; and attend an interview with partners to be considered for the Practice Training Contract with Prolegis, upon your graduation.
How to apply
We’re looking for law graduates, penultimate or final year law students who are eligible to be admitted to the Singapore Bar. Please refer to the Singapore Institute of Legal Education (SILE) website for further information.
To apply for our 2025 vacation schemes, you should be eligible to start your Practice Training Contract in March 2028. You must also be able to live and work legally in Singapore for the duration of the vacation scheme and training contract.
We’re looking for consistent 2:1s throughout your degree but we’ll always take mitigating circumstances into account – please include as much detail as you’re comfortable with in the additional information box on the online application form.
If your initial application is shortlisted, you’ll be interviewed by a panel including a partner and a senior associate.
Key dates
Our 2025 vacation schemes run in June and July for four weeks. Applications for the scheme will open from 1 September 2024 until 1 January 2025. We review and interview on a rolling basis, so please apply early to avoid missing out!
